Al Gore is the next president of the United States That is my prediction. I don't believe his talk about not running. In October he will win the Nobel Peace Prize, and with that and his Oscar in hand, along with lingering resentment about the 2000 election and the subsequent travesty of an administration, his political stocks will be higher than ever and he'll jump in. The nomination and the presidency will be there for the taking. He won't be able to say no. His popularity plus the inherent risks of nominating a black or woman candidate will do it. The party will bottle it and go for the safe choice. As for the Republicans, they have nobody that can beat him.
