RUBIK'S CUBE, what's the strategy in solving it?

i have never solve rubik's cube in my entire life. i can only arrange one particular color. so can anybody tell me what's your strategy in arranging all the colors and put them back just like how it looks like when you bought it... please don't tell me to remove the colored stickers, that's cheating! hehehe.
