May elections are just around the corner and ads are springing up everywhere. You think that these candidates deserve a spot in our government?

cesar montano and richarc gomez should start from much lower position.. being in the senate is a big responsibility.. how could they make laws when they don't have any political background.. unlike Sen. Bong Revilla... He started as Governor of Cavite before he runned for senate..

Here in the Philippines, same old circus... no matter who we place in the goverment, there will always be bad apples and bad spirits taunting those pottentially good apples. It's a really sad fact though... i have become a cynic after seeing our country suffer over and over again because of these legal thieves. Do i think that the current candidates deserve a spot in our government... i really dont know.. i have lost my complete trust to our juducial system... and besides, whether they deserve it or not- as long as they have the money, they can get that spot... But inspite all of all these cyniscm, i still pray that there is still hope for all filipinos.

it's difficult to say who deserve position in the government because we all do know every election they do their very best to win the masses vote with their promises that made to be broken and with some starting projects that will be left unfinish after the elections.

only a few really deserve it. politics have really gone downhill, everybody could run. celebrities, sportsmen, businessmen, you name it.. as long as you have the money, you're a "politician".. public service has gone backseat..

Our elections today remain to be a popularity contest. In my opinion, "name recall" and populatiry are still the biggest factors for winnability. And as long as this is the case, we will still have people who are popular run for office and will most likely win. In general, we don't give much value for (past) performance or potential to serve / contribute once elected (i.e. skills and expertise in creating laws once voted as senator).
