Public works deptt. are generally carrying out the work of construction of roads which are main arteries of communication. Nowadays their main responsibility is of maintenance of road than original construction. There should be regular arrangement to clean road and clean gutters and nalla crossing it. It is pitiful when we face situation like flooding at start of rain and people residing sideby are suffered a lot. Mumbai Municipal corpn. may take note of this and keep gutters cleaned daily.
