Almost as soon as I have started to read a new book I'll look over my book shelf and eye the books to think what one will I read next. Do you do this? I find it kind of funny cause I just started reading a new book, but yet here I am looking for what one will be next. Just gets me giddy thinking ohhh what one do I choose?

Hehe oh I do this as well. I'll usually have a set of books all ready to be read and I'll go from one to the next. I'll already have it thought out which one I'll read after the one I am currently. Back when I would go to the library it was nothing for me to check out eight to ten books and read them in a week and then go back for more. The librarians used to wonder but they were used to my dad doing the same thing which helped :)

Actually, I do that all the time too. I have a pile of 4 to 5 books on my desk that I have stacked in the order of which I am going to read them. But then, even though I have something planned for next time, I will change it to something else to look forward to. :) So yes, even though I have something I have started reading, I am planning on what I am reading next. :)

You would need a big bib in my room! LOL I have so many books and I've run out of shelves. I was just looking the other day at some shelving to purchase and have been debating what to do. LOL I love reading and it's rare you will find me without a book in my hand or nearby!

I have this problem all the time because I have over 200 unread books on my shelves. That is why I find myself reading more than one book at a time - but not novels. I am currently reading a book of poetry (taking my time on that one), an inspirational book on life, and a novel. I think books borrowed from the library or friends have priority because they must be returned. However, I do have a book from a friend, a non-fiction book on writing, but she is in no hurry to get it back. Decisions, decisions.

Ok, this is nice to know I am not the only one who does this. I love it when I get a bag from a sale and I just look them over; it gets me all giddy too.

I do that too. I actually will have a few books lined up in order by when I want to read them lol. Knowing what I have to read next always makes me want to finish my books faster to get to the next one!

I do that too, before I get to the end of my book I look at all the books on my bookshelf and get excited thinking about all the ones I haven't read yet. I started letting my daughter pick out a book for me though, I show her the ones to choose from and she picks it out for me!! That was is alot easier for me since I have a hard time choosing =)
