Just a reminder that tonight is the night that we have to set the clocks ahead an hour. Which is about 3 weeks earlier then usual. FOr those of you that use the Palm as your PDA, make sure you download this latest fix to take care of this situation. http://www.palm.com/us/support/downloads/dst.html?sssdmh=dm13.130166

thanks for the reminder. it seems it is too early (I know it has been moved up a few weeks). but that does mean spring is arriving and for that I'm excited.

Hey! Thanks for posting the Microsoft link! I guess my computer already auto updated because it did not find anything to update. But I will have to check my computer down stairs also. I knew MS would come out with a fix. :) Thanks again for the link!

My MAC must have done the updates earlier, I did a software check last night and there was nothing new, but the clock when from 1:59 AM to 3 AM. Pretty cool! Thanks for the update info from the windows people, and for those who did not load the update and do it manually, remember in a few weeks, your computer will be ahead one hour.

Well this does not apply to me but in 2 weeks I have to set our clocks back as we are in Autumn now. We have already had spring but I am not looking forward to the winter months for Australia, which is not far off for us all here.

How cold does it normally get in your winter. I am afraid I am very ignorant about Australia, although I love Helen Reddy, in fact I just bought a CD (well iTunes) of her greatest hits, Mel though is no longer on my hit list, even though he was born about 30 minutes from where I now live. I think the money went to his head. I loke one song by Joe Dolce ( no one knows him) go to his website...list to the 12 days of Christmas - Italian style. It is a Christmas tradition in my house with my son.

Well the reason for the fixis that the pda's are programmed to automatically change the time..in 3 weeks. Now the code has to be installed to make the change at a different time. Same thing in November.

Thank you, Debs...My husband had told me earlier today and I had forgotten until I noticed your discussion; so I changed our clocks before I started this response. Thanks again...

I am waiting to see what appliances will adjust themselves. Some of our alarm clocks get their signal from the atomic clock. I don't think the microwave does and I know hte ancienet stove doesn't.

I guess I am the only one who did not pay attention about time change. I just figure it out checking your post. Thank you.
