I am constantly getting people who want me to add them to their friends list. I have denied them all since I know nothing about them. I was wondering, do you get more pay if you have more friends?

My Lot friends love posting on each other's discussions, so adding friends is never a bad idea. It's not the same as real life friends, though. You need friends here to succeed. We all help each other out, and that's how we make more money. Don't forget to rate each discussion too, and pick a best response. And, simply post more discussions. A friend of mine said that they are paying more for well maintained discussions. Not sure if that's so, but it couldn't hurt. Best of luck finding out.

I would like to know this, too. I haven't signed up any friends, although I have 4 referrals. Maybe I need to check my profile page to see if anyone has tried to make friends with me. How would I check to see?

I don't think it pays more if you have more friends. But if someone asks you, you might want to look at their profile and the types of posts they make to see if you have things in common. If that's the case, you may want to add them. People can look up "Discussions my Friends Started" and your posts will be among them, if they have added you. That will get more people to look at discussions you have started, and you will get more responses, and I think that does earn you more money. Also, if you like someone's posts and they are among your friends, you can do the same thing--look up "Discussions my Friends Started" and go right to kind of posts you like. It's just a way to easily find discussion you are interested in and for them to find you. The other way of course is to look for "Discussions in my Interests", but the friends thing narrows it down more, unless you add a whole bunch of friends.
