Referrals.. how do they work ?

I posted this before, but I have received no response and I am in dire need of an answer for my friend. She clicked on my referral link and it takes her to the main Mylot page with no reference to me or my link. If she registers, will it still be credited to me as a referral ?

Yes, as long as the link you gave is correct, you should get a credit for you referring your friend, and it should show on your referral count, of course it won't mention you personally as this would sort of give the game away for those not in the know about affiliate links, mind you there are ways you can hide affiliate links.!

thanks for sharing.. I figured it would at least have my referral ID or something on the page. The link I gave her was the one provided on the referral section of Mylot that says..this is your referral ID

No it doesn't work like that, to have your own referral link on the page would make it clear to whoever signs up that you are getting credit for that referral and in these times people don't like to know that other people are gaining from others.
Having said this if the referral link was correct then your should take this up with mylot and complain, because if your friend is an active referral, he or she will earn you a bit more cash!!

thanks again.. I will let her know and if she signs up and it never shows up on my referrals, I will take it up with Mylot.

Same thing happened to me and my daughter. She used my referral link and I never got credited.
I sent them many messages and they never cared.
I hope things work out better for you.
