Lost pattern

Have you ever started a project and then lost the pattern before you were finished? This happened to me a month or two before Christmas. A friend had bought a couple cross-stitch kits for Christmas stockings that she wanted me to do up for her. So I started one, and left it at her place to work on the next time I came over (we see each other nearly everyday and it would give me something to do when we were watching tv). However, the next time I picked it up, the pattern page was missing. My friend is on disability and has a personal service worker come in once a week to clean, so we think she may have put it away somewhere, but we can't find it. This is a discontinued pattern and not available anywhere. I've put out requests on various boards if anyone should have a copy they would share, but haven't had any luck. Should I pull out what I've got done so far (not much) or keep hoping it might turn up somewhere? (In case anyone here might be able to help, it's Bucilla's "The Best of Christmas" #82915.)

I was able to narrow it down to less than 600 results, but it doesn't look like this artist uses the product id in her web promotions. If these are the results you were coming up with, I understand why you would hesitate to repurchase the pattern. ;) http://www.koolerdesign.com/shopresults.asp?title=Christmas&desc=&authorinit=&arttype=11
