Watching PBS, playing the British Beat - from back in the early days of rock - Peter and Gordon were on earlier, and now they just finished Needles and Pins.
And now Dusty Springfield. ANyone else remember does golden days of rock.
I have none of these songs on my iPod.
If you were populating your iPod with songs from this genre - what would you pick.
It amazes me how much I think I have, then realized I have no one mentioned above!

MY ipod is coming up on it's second birthday. I just gor tired of never being able to find the CDs I want, now i have hundreds of CDs on my iPOd, never have to look for them or worry about putting them away.
Drove to Chicago and back last year from NY and never listened to the same song twice. No CD mess in the car. I go to the gym or for a walk and i have my whole library of music in my hand, just a bit bigger then a deck of cards.
I got rid of that big stereo, got some little speakers and love my toy.
But you didn't tell me..what are your favorite songs from that era!?!

Oh I loved this kind of music it was while I was growing up in my teens and you mean the song Pins and Needles, I remember them all too well and they even play a lot of this kind of music today here in Australia, I love it when they do as I always sing along as I used to go in all the singing competitions in Australia at our local clubs, another song was she was only 16, have you got this one!!

No, that is another one I don't have. I wish I could afford to get the music that is on the show, all at once, but it is a fund raiser for public TV, and the amount they want is about 4-5 times as much as it would cost to buy.
Thanks for the song.
