My wife is into geneology big time and she is researching the Smallpiece family tree from England. We live in Canada and need some information. Anyone know of anywhere online that might be able to help?

My dad is currently doing our family tree. he sais the site below is the best, has census data, birthm marriage data etc. So if you know the names of a few ancestors you can trace them back a good 200 years fairly simply. http://landing.ancestry.co.uk/uki/collection.aspx?html=db1&o_xid=28678&o_lid=28678&o_xt=28503&offerid=0%3a7935%3a0 Good luck with the search

Thank you so much! Any help is appreciated. I will give the link to my wife and see how it goes. I always said if you want something just ask for it.

That is one she has been to before but I guess to access the url you sent, you would have to be a paid member of the site. Thanks anyway ... was worth a try. She is actually looking for a free resource.

My brother has put up a frame on the wall. Its a Chart of the Chan Clan in Chinese Family Tree which indicate the first character of the name. Chinese Family name is place first and two character indicating the name. The first Character indicate the generation that he belongs. Usually the male members use the character.
