Are you ready for March madness? I sure am. Who do you think remains on the bubble? Apalachain State? Missouri State? Illinois?

I haven't really watched since the refs took it away from Illinois against North Carolina in the finals a few years sgo, maybe 2004. It was 8 vs. 5. Even so, Illinois came way, way back in the 4th period and almost pulled it off. I always root for The Salukis, I like their name. They are from Southern Illinois. They probably won't win it , but they always play hard. Second choice is any Big Ten team, maybe Ohio State. I like Michigan also.

that was a tough one for me too. I am a big Bruce Weber fan (he was previously the coach of the Salukis) and so I had followed the Illini that year after the Salukis lost. And this year...if the Saluki's beat Holy Cross and Illinois beats Virginia Tech, then they'll meet in the next round which should be a lot of fun....but we can't get too excited just yet because we both have first round games. I'm glad you rout for the 'dawgs. They are a fun team to watch this year.

i think Syracuse absolutely deserved to be in the tournament and the VCU and arkansas do not belong in this tourny. It is a joke and i am very upset about it. But, i think either Wisconsin or OSU will won mayyyyyyybeeeee Florida. But i wanna see Oden (OSU) and Hibert (Georgetown) to see eachother in the final 4 that would be a sick match up even though obviously i think Oden is better than hibert but they are both huge so it would be a more even matchup than normal.

I'm sorry but I must disagree about Syracuse. I could see Kansas State, even Air Force or Missouri State getting in but not Syracuse. your other comments may come true. thanks for adding to this discussion.

Well I am not into college basketball too much. So I am not into March Madness. However a lot of my high school students where I teach are into March Madness and so I do pick up on some of the colleges that are playing. Since I teach in Michigan I mostly hear about University of Michigan and Michigan State University teams.

I am not a big basketball fan, but I do watch the March Madness every year to cheer on my hometown team Arizona Wildcats. I will watch the tourney up until and if Arizona gets booted.

Sorry I don't like sports. I also don't like the fact that they are messing with my television schedual. I only watch a few television shows and thanks to march madness the repeats are starting early.

I personally am not a huge fan of March Madness. It disrupts all other TV on CBS and drives me nuts. I do like to watch the final four and I am a fan of Duke and Syracuse. That being said, I am sure there are shows that I like that others don't, so we all have to take our turns. :)

you're right about everyone having their favorite shows. And it is just really about 10 days / nights of program interruptions. I suspect some day it will be all on cable of pay per view. I'm really surprised that CBS is not feeding the soaps and other programming to a commercial channel or even to a side HDTV / digital channel. Thanks for replying to this discussion.
