March 10, 2007 8:31pm CST
There are some things that I just cannot bear to see people do. Pick their nose. Spit. Chew food with their mouths open. What turns your stomach?????

People chewing with their mouth open or talking with a mouthfull of food are the highest on my stomach churning scale. My dad is famous for both and is coming to visit in a couple of weeks which should bring it all back to me.

when people say and act like they love you then when they change suddenly, like becoming a spoiled kid or something, and then they throw it away with whatever is left of your heart and emotions, makes me wonder if its ever worth risking it again maybe women are just for renting

This is a horrible side of human behaviour!! I hope you don't have to resort to renting out!! Good luck

Spitting in a pretty bad one and although it sounds a bit snobby and/or old fashioned young girls with pushchairs full of toddlers walking down the street smoking.

Definitely when you see people spit. That is so gross. I don't want to step in that crap. I also don't like nose pickers. Gross!!!! I also don't like when people clip their nails in public.

My husband has always chewed his food with his mouth open; sounds like a hog in a slop pen. He doesn't just chew, he 'smacks' and it drives me nuts! Don't know if there's something wrong with his nose or what but he won't go to Doctor. Drives me crazy when people pick out the ear wax from their ears and play with it or when they clean the stuff out from under their toenails with their fingers...Aargh!

My partner is always sniffing and this drives me insane. When he has a cold I am constantly having a go. Even today when I spoke to him on the phone he was sniffing!! I do feel sorry for you, hearing someone eat is awful!! Cheers!!

A lot of those which you've highlighted do this. Spiting, Seeing some chew, watching someone use tooth picks or something similar.. ewww People who leave hair bulls lying around, I'm not a fan of that or food which has been left to display months after first eating it. (a friends family still have pizza boxers with crusts in which are older than he is!) I'm not joking either. It's sick. ~Joey

Ewww people when they eat with their mouths open, it's disgusting and is guaranteed to put me off my meal. It's something so basic, but yet people sit there and you can see all the food going round like clothes in a washing machine. And when people eat noisily as well, slapping their lips, I've just eaten myself and thinking of it alone makes me feel icky! That is my pet hate!

I find it really rude and ignorant. When my kids were little, I always taught them to eat with their moths closed and I do at work too. Some kids are just not taught good manners and grow up into annoying adults!! Cheers!!!

Oh my - there are lots of things about human behaviour that turn my stomach - that' s why I truly do mean it when I sometimes say I much prefer my cats - they are much more loyal, and loving! But I know that is not what you are looking for in this discussion - so I guess I would say picking their noses, and then eating it - ugh!!! Or almost as bad - blowing their nose, and then looking at it afterwards! So gross! Even the thought of it is putting me off my food! Have a nice day!

Someone said earlier about people being kind one moment and then horrble the next , so I can understand why you prefer your cats sometimes, they are very loyal!! When I am at work and see the kids pick their noses or lick away the excess running down, that makes my stomach turn!!! Cheers!!
