How does one cook sprouts?.. Is there any good recipe to follow? I heard that they are very good for health.

Yes they are very good for health, but usually we do not cook them, but rather eat them raw on a sandwich or in a salad. Of course they can be pan-fried for egg foo yung or added late to any stir-fried dish, but they do not want to be overcooked.

In our country here in the Philippines we cook sprouts like this we saute the onion (sliced), garlic (crushed), and tomato (sliced)in a frying pan w/ cooking vegetable oil and then when those ingredients are already light brown, add the pork meat(cube sliced)until light brown also, and then add the sprouts, 1 0r 2 cups of water, salt to taste and msg to taste (if u just like)and cook until sprouts is litle crunchy. Other cooks add some other vegetable like cabbage, beans, and the like....or they use chicken meat, beef meat or fish meat...
