Berserk,House Cat Sends Owner To Hospital

i was reading this story on www.cnn.com .an my cat is just like this one..read the stroy...A house cat attacked it owner,sending her to the hospital by ambulance with more than 20 bite wounds.the cat,a black an white domestic male went on a rampage on wednesday when a neighbor showed up at her door with a diffrent cat,mistakenly thinking it belonged to the woman.she went to the door,an her cat went beserk.the owner said she was taken the cat to a shelter because this is not the frist time she had been attack.....my cat is just like this cat he will tear you up an i have been bitten many time by him.but i wont take mine toa shelter.but what make them do this?

I think cats are still quite close to the wild. they still go out and hunt and kill birds and mice so they if they are frightened I think they just go back to their wild state.
