Other than being behind the wheel nothing helps me. I am so bad I can't even consult a map or take my eyes off the road for a moment and the pills make me too sleepy to function. Does anything help?

I have seen acupressure wrist bands in health food shops that are supposed to prevent it. You can also get seasickness patches to wear behind your ears. They're good for 3 days (they're called Scopalimine) and they work like a charm. You'll need to get an rx for that, though.

I was in Hawaii once and having a bit of a struggle with motion sickness. The locals there said for years that they have been using ginger for a remedy. I have car sickness at times, especially when I have not traveled in a car for more than a month. Just a few minutes ago one of our friend in mylot suggested two tips which she got from her friend and his father, if I am not mistaken. One of the tips is to put bicarbonate soda in a car. She put it in a glove and hang it at the back of the car, and she said it works for her. Oh my gosh, I forgot the other tip. Lol. Never mind. I am going to give you my tip. I often bring with me an orange whenever I travel. When I feel dizzy, I will peel off the orange skin and I will breathe the aroma of the skin peel. It relieves my car sickness. Maybe you can try this. Who knows it works for you?

Have you ever tried Bonine? I used to take Dramamine but they made me really drowzy, and my body became immune to them after a while. I've been using Bonine and it doesn't make me drowzy at all and it works great!
