Well, there are so many movies that are great and to pick up just 3 movies is such a difficult task. But if i was still to name 3 movies they would be: 1.Lord of the rings( all the 3 parts )-watching this movie you come to realize how important movies are to life and what movie magic is all about. 2.Shawshank Redemption- how can you forget watching dufrene escape, and morgan was just so brilliant in his acting. There friendship over the years is redeeming. Like they said " get busy livin or get busy". 3.Forest Gump- half way through this movie, you realise that every human has a forest gump hidden in him. The innocence with which forest gump faces the world is truly magical. I can watch this movie any number of time and still say "my name is forest gump". Well this is the top 3, but there are other movies like the motorcycle diaries, momento, goodfella's, godfather, one flew over the cookoo's nest, etc that cannot go without a mention.

Very nice list! And I admire your patience in writing all these down. I managed to watch all three you mentioned (including those "other movies" listed). We have almost identical taste when it comes to movies. Thumbs up for you my friend!

This is an easy one for me. I really like alot of movies but here is my top 3: 1. Dune - The original 1984 masterpiece is just fantastic! I remember seeing this movie in the theater as a child. Can't get enough of it! 2. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children - Another awesome movie. Takes one of my favorite video games just a step further. The fight scenes are incredible and the character emotion just intense. 3. Amadeus - I don't think any other movie has ever done Wolfgang Mozart such justice as this one did. It showed the madness and humanity beyond the heavenly inspired music. Almost the madness of genius. I just love this movie!

Wow! Seen those movies too! The original Dune is fantastic! I was in awe, as a child, how they managed to change the color of their eyes after drinking the "Water of Life".. LOL Advent Children : One of my favorite animation movie with its "almost-perfect-human-form" actors. Final Fantasy is getting better and better with its animations. And yes, Amadeus! the mad music genius! Classic! Nice choice !

I have a lot of fave movies but I'll just drill down to three. These are the movies that I would like to watch over and over again: 1. Merlin - a Hallmark production starred by Sam Neil, Miranda Richardson and Martin Short, among the long list of stellar performers. It may not be according to a lot of novels and stories about King Arthur, but it was presented very well. 2. Star Wars - "Luke, I am your father..." Seen all parts and I loved the fight scenes of Yoda. 3. Sister Act - starred by Whoopi Goldberg; saw both but I loved the first one. "By the power vested in my by the Constitution (or something), I now pronounce us to eat. Amen."

Now, those are the movies I have yet to see! lol Indian movies, I presume? Seen lots of Indian movies too myself. I remembered this Indian movie about a doctor. I think the plot is very similar with Harrison Ford's The Fugitive. I can't remember the exact title though. I believe that Indian movie is the basis for The Fugitive. That Indian movie appeared to be "older" than The Fugitive. Am I correct?

I like all kinds of movies too. From your list, I was able to watch Benchwarmers only.. Now that I have your list, I'll have to list down those movies I missed :) Which is actually the point of my post here... And that is collecting list of worthwhile movies to watch. Thanks suscan!

I love watching movies. It's hard to decide which movies will make it on my top three list. Well, here goes. I'll go for Titanic because i adore Leonardo DiCaprio. Next is Bridges of Madison County because it made me cry a lot. Lastly, i'd go for Lord of the Rings because of it's special fx!

Thank you! The love story kind eh? :D The movie Finding Neverland made me view it twice before I could finally "sink" it all in on my system.. I guess I'm kinda "slow".. :) a memorable movie. And who can forget Grease ?! :D I remembered attaching home-made "spikes" to my own bicycle back then... just to imitate those "spiky-looking-things" that popped out from the side of a car, vandalizing another car.. I think it was from John Travolta's adversary during a "drag-race". lol.
