What exists in the name of Christianity, I have always called Crossianity. It is the worship of the cross, not of christ It is the fear of death, not love of live........

Basing your views on the religion of Christianity on how certain people act is kind of silly. There are many Christians who are loving, caring, giving people, who try to convert others to Christianity through emphasizing what God has done for them rather than the threat of Hell. They're just not as loud as the other kind. I think all religions suffer from a few bigmouths that make them look bad, and in order to truly understand and be tolerant we have to look past those people and find the members within that religion that take a positive view on it. I know it can be hard sometimes, trust me. I had a deep fear of Christians for a long time due to abuse suffered at the hands of so-called "Christians". But that doesn't make the entire religion bad. There are many points within Christianity (and especially within the words of Christ) that have much value. That said, I'm not a Christian myself, but I do feel that there is value in all religons, and to be openly mocking of a religion like this without even including a detailed reasoning is just rude.

I appreciate your sentiments. But however good the words of Christ were, he was in a great state of Ego when he mentioned that he was the only way and no one could reach the father (God) except through him, thus condemning all others who are non-believers to Eternal Hell. Isn't this being even more rude to people of other faiths and religion? This also implies that the bible has condemned all Great ones eg.Buddha to hell and labelled them as false prophets and followers of Satan. I suppose this is being very polite!

*nods* I didn't say that there weren't any problems with the religion, or that it was perfect, just that not all modern Christians fit the model that you were setting forth. Moreover, I was saying that it would have been better to expand on your point of view than to just write a short statement of it. Offering examples for why you think in a certain way is more useful for starting a real discussion that just throwing something out there that is only going to get either agreement or offense. If you had said those things in your original post, I would have understood better what you meant.

I don't understand where you get off calling it "crosstianity." I was raised as a "Christian" and I will tell you right now, they do not worship the cross any more than they worship Jesus himself. I now generally refer to "Christians" as Biblians. Because it is that book that they truly worship.
