What were you afraid of as a child but out grew?

When I was a child I was very afraid of dogs. I got bitten on the lip by a german shepard when I was 4. Still remember that! I now have 3 dogs and just love em. One thing I never really out grew though was crossing bridges that open up. I use to get down on the floor in the back seat whenever we went over one. I don't do that now lol but my heart still skips a beat when I have to cross one.
