I just found out what the highest number of children from a multiple pregnancy ("twins") was, and I am shocked! Do you know? The one that gives me the correct answer first will get the "best response".

I don't know if all 9 survived, but there were 9 born alive.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that it was 9, I believe many of the babies did not last long.

You didn't say whether you mean't live births, or just how many children. If you mean't born alive, I would guess at 8. If you mean't total number living or not, I would say it might be possible to give birth to a dozen very small babies.

It's the same woman, if you know both the number of babies and the number of born alive it's even better. The figures you've indicated are very close to the fact.
