Has the DS reached its peak?

I've noticed that the best games for the DS are those that came out around last year, has the system's novelty worn off? Do you think the best is yet to come, are there any new games that you think will be better than Mario or Animal Crossing?

I have to agree with the others. The DS has not yet reached it's peak and there is plenty of life left in it. Nintendo continually puts out some of the most innovative games for the DS and that will help keep it around for a long time to come.

Its a long way for DS to outlive its lifespan, I think its just the beginning for now, there are games that are great- coming out one by one. Remember gameboy advance where many games are pushing to the limits at the end of its lifespan but the DS is different many great games are already coming out, it thinks out what if it is in end of its lifespan, what games could be come out?

I'm interested in what other possibilities there are for the DS,not just for the future of gaming with it..I've been following with interest the reports and demonstrations (On Youtube) that someone has come out with a homebrew application that'll allow you to make VOIP calls using your DS! I Like the thinking that got that one off the drawing board!

Surely not! There are some great games to come, like Lost in Blue 2, Pokemon Diamond, FF, Dragon Ball Z

I think the best is yet to come for the Nintendo DS! I mean, there are waaay to many possibilities for this system! Nintendo has rightfully been focusing on the Wii these past few months, to keep interest for it, of course. They are still working constantly on the DS system and the new games keep coming, a lot may be sequals or not your types of games, but you have to remember they sell what is in demand. If that's what the demand calls for, then they will make more for this demand. Of course Nintendo had always been known to surprise us when we least expect it, so I think we just need to be patient, keep our eyes on Nintendo Power, and await the next amazing thing to come from Nintendo....hehe
