which is the best poltergeist movie?

so far i only watched the first movie. do you think the sequels are good as well? basically i think there are 3 movies in the poltergeist trilogy. which one do you think has the best plot and why? do you think they should create another sequel to the three movies? maybe a poltergeist 2007?

The first is far and away the best. The second is watchable thanks mostly to the creepy old preacher man who appears in it. Don't even bother with the third it's awful. UI actually wouldn't mind seeing them do a remake of the original...think they could make the effects look really awesome now.
