I do hang some of mine out when the weather is warm. I love the smell of the clothes. I usually just do the sheets and towels.

I always hang my clothes out accept in the winter. I love the way it makes them smell. My mom hangs hers out too. She does it year round. Sometimes I wonder how they get dry in the winter and don't freeze. They get dry and she says she will do it until she can't anymore. She use to say what do you think they did before dryers.lol

I like to hang cotton tops that dont need to be ironed out side. I never hang any terry items (robes, towels, etc) because unless their is pretty decent wind they take too long to dry and are not soft enough..

i know what you mean about terry cloth. when they dry out side they are stiff.but i put my towels in the dryer after i bring them in from the outside an add a dryer fabric sheet.to soften them up.but i dont run a full dry cycle.

I like to in summer as long as we dnt have the BBQ or wood stove going lol. Or the clothes end up smelling like smoke. We just got a dryer in the past 6 months, before we hung them to dry all the time. Even inside in winter.

Becaue I live in a part of the USA that gets snow in the winter the only time I can hang my clothes outside is in the spring and summer. Once it is warm enough I will definately be using my laundry line.

Oh yes. If its hot outside, we let our clothes hang their till it gets dry. But if its not, thats the time we use our dryer and yes, we also practice cutting down our electrical bill cause its really killing us.. tsk tsk! (",)

I have always preferred to dry my washing outside in the fresh air. We have had a wonderful sunny and windy day here, I managed to get three loads of washing done and out to dry today. The fresh bed sheets on the bed smell wonderfully fresh and clean after they have dried outside.

There's nothing like line-dryed sheets! Clothes would probably be alright, if they stayed on the line. I hung some clothes out one morning-and had a brand new skirt stolen right off the line.

Hello! First clothes are washed & dried in washing machine at my home. Then, clothes are hanged outside to dry naturally because I feel clothes dried outside smell good...vani^_^

I always use a machine, it is much faster and my xlothes come out less wrinkled that way.

We have our own backyard and since its summer here 9 months of the year, we hang our clothes out to dry. I dont see much of it anymore either. I guess if you live in an apartment or in a place where it rains most of the time, it would be difficult. Here it rains for a maximum of 5 days in a year.

I'm taller than i am wide so i can't dry my jeans or they will shrink up and be too short on me so i still hang my jeans outside to dry, i love how they smell especially in the spring and summer

yep, all year round. When the baby was in diapers I would bring them in frozen stiff in the winter! brrrrr. We stopped using a dryer 6 and a half years ago - I miss it only when I am anxious for a certain piece of clothing to be dry and it is raining outside! I do hang up bath towels and undergarments inside though.
