I have a new person at the top of my most hated list. Bill Gates! He's been making software for years yet he still can't make a version of Word which works. People can make computer games with advanced interactive 3D graphics yet microsoft can't create a version of Word which lets you put a pIcture where you want it! HOW HARD CAN IT BE!!!!!!!

One Question: Have you used Windows Vista and Office 2007? They are a great improvement over previous versions and a step in the right direction... although they might not be worth $200. Also, putting pictures wherever you want them is not that hard... Try Picture Toolbar - Text Wrapping - Infront of Text. That should solve your problem.

Thanks for your help but text wrapping doesn't work because as soon as you type anything else above the picture it moves it around again. I've been trying for years to get it to work, but i don't think there is a real solution jusat have to make sorting out pictures that last thing you do before you print. Sadly i can't buy Vista or office 2007 as my computer sadly isn't fast enough (not to mention my precarious financial state)

Just so you know, Office 2007 doesn't need the best computer... although Vista does. Office 2007 will run on a Windows XP machine fine.

I dont hate anyone but the products tht microsoft puts out and then stops supporting more mature fixed products seems counterproductive to good business practice for everyone but microsoft. It is time that business and government stood up to them and stopped allowing these practices. The newer versions of office cost more and do less. I cant understand why I would want stripped down office software and have to pay extra to get the stuff I had back in my suite.

The only complain I can have is that everything microsoft is set a cut-throat price. I always try to find alternative first. However sometimes you just can't avoid but use micrsoft products. It is about time there are strong contenders to give microsoft a run for their money.
