101 year old mugged

So if you haven't already heard on the news (especially if you live in NY) there was a 100 year old lady mugged the other day. It was caught on surveillance video, it showed this huge black guy pretending to hold the door open for the lady. Then he turns around and punches her in the face three times. After that he turns to leave but sees that she's reaching to get the purse that that b*tch stole and he knocked her down with one last punch. She went down with her walker. Then he leaves with his pink bike! Words can't descride how WRONG that is! I hope he gets killed. Oh yeah and after that woman he did the same to an 85 year old woman...ugh! Is it just me or am I the only one distraught over this?!

I did see this. It was awful. I think people who mistreat our elderly should be ashamed of themselves. They raised us, and now we treat them like second hand citizens. I almost hope that he gets "Street justice" for what he did.

I agree with you. I hope his elderly grandmother realizes what he did to that woman and opens a can on him herself. Maybe that would teach him the respect he needs.

I agree with you. There is no punishment in your current system suitable for an animal like that wild beast. Bring back floggings.

that is one shocking story! such great shame for a big guy who chose to pick on a helpless old lady...i bet he'll never get away with it if ever he did it in the philipines. but then again, i doubt if it'll happen here. we have so much respect for our senior citizens, we still seek their opinions or even decisions on a variety of matters. family, business, etc. i hope the old lady gets her much-deserved justice...

That's right up there with those dispicable people that take advantage of nursing home residents. I honestly believe that there is no level a criminal would not sink to in order to put a couple of extra bucks in their pockets. I heard that the thug only got about 30 dollars from that 101 year old lady. He left her with a broken cheek bone, countless bruises, and a fear of her apartment complex. She's so afraid now that she wants to move. Nobody in their elder years should have to move out of their home for fear of being harmed in it. Despicable!

well that is horrendous, he is one evil man, i have alot of respect for old people and i think there lovley, how could he possibly do that to her. ahh the world is not a very safe place to be sometimes and i hope she is okay and also he deserves a well bad punishment for what he done.

Not only is he evil for preying on old women, but also a whimp!!! He could at least try picking on someone his own size, and who's equally physically able! What a sorry, low-life whimp!

This is so unbelieveable. This guy has to be the biggest chicken there ever was. Can't face someone capable of fighting back to he picks on people who can't.
And I will bet he would never pick on a man regardless of age.
This idiot deserves a special kind of hell in prison and I do hope he finds his way there.
This guys got to be real pround of himself.

That's so disgusting. Do you even need to punch a 100 year old woman? How low do you need to be to mug the elderly. What a disgusting man. Is the woman OK? I could imagine being 100, that could really do some damage to her fragile bones. Were there any other people around? Did anyone help this woman?

omg that is so sad and pathetic how could someone go so low in life to do such a cruel thing to people. no way i could yell at an old lady let alone hit them or steal from them, and that man should oh i dont wanna say it seriously, something really needs to be done about him. i been in a bad mood all morning and that just rocked the boat even more, what this world coming to..

For those of you who think that capital punishment is cruel;please take a hard look at what that man did to those women. The only thing wrong with capital punishment is that we take too long to carry it out. And yes, it should apply to certain other crimes, not just murder. If we took a tougher stance on crime the world be a better place.

Several things are at work here in this awful attack. First, perps will always seek the most vulnerable regardless of looks. Secondly, perps will always seek the most available. And lastly, our people have no respect or at least proper respect for the elderly. In ancient and even more recent socities, the elderly were looked to for advice, guidance, their accumualted wisdom. Today, the elderly are dispensable. This is not the way it should be, is it?

This is absolutely ridiculous. That is like i dont even know how you can do that to someone old in general but come on, A 100 YEAR OLD!!! I would like to see what they Police do to this guy. I hope he gets punished so much more than just an average robery. He could have killed these two woman just by punching them. thats such a bad thing to do. WOW

i am distraught like you over this robbery is a grave crime but it is unthnkable why one would choose to rob two elderly and defenseless ladies. but what i am curious to find out also is why you have chosen to bring light to the fact that the robber was black. would it have been any less of a crime if the robber was of another race?

I think it is very disturbing that a grown man or any one for that matter to do this to an elderly person. However i dont think he should be killed but he should be punished hopefully he will get his in jail :)...lol
