Has anyone ever read the Oddyssey?? I am currently reading it and i am on Book XI it is pretty good so far but its a little confusing. If anyone has ever read this book i would just like to know what you think of it or basically just how you think it relates to us and our lives or anything like that. How ever you want to respond just its a tough book for me I've had to look up many words.
What about you guys?

Ive read the Oddyssey many many times, and Im only 19. Ive even had to translate it from its Latin Text for my class in high School. Its a good story, but a lot of Greek literature seems to have the same basic concepts so reading one always seems like reading another. Hercules is a 'Hero' that really pissed me off, if you want to read a hyped up person who is in NO way a hero, you should read those. His rage causes him to kill people, including his own family and children, yet he's still considered an amazing hero? wtf.

yeah i just read about achilles except they spelled it different in the book. it seems pretty interesting. i didnt understand the first five Books but now i am beginning to understand it. i just finished reading Book XI before posting this comment. but yeah what other books have you read?
