Is there any wrong pray?

I had got a problematic commentary from my friend on my pray, "Your pray was absolutely wrong!" I was starled. I just said a pray like this, "Oh my Lord, give my friend your guidance to his repentance and keep away drugs from him..." What's wrong with my pray? He said that I'd had a prejudice point of view on my friend in it. Do you think so? What's wrong with my pray? Is there any wrong pray?

I find nothing wrong with the way you prayed as you were only asking for guidance for your friend. I actually don't think there can be a wrong kind of praying, except in the cases when you ask for a bad thing to happen to someone. I actually find the best prayer the one asking for guidance because I think that's what we need the most :) I see no prejudiced point of view on your friend here.
