World cup - Day 1

Pakistan start as the favourites but West indies are unpredictable so its even. Though i feel for west indies to win chris gayle and marlon samuels have to fire. If these two get going west indies will win without any doubt but these two are shaky starters so they have to just get through the early phase. I do feel that pakistan have an edge as they are in right frame of mind after the win against south africa. I'm waiting eagerly for this match as its evenly balanced, lets see who wins, i'd like to see gayle score big one.

i also predict a west indies win...cos they are better organisedn planned as a team....n pakistan has a serious bowling problem.....they r lacking strike bowlers...n its gonna hurt them more when they are defending targets... but if they bat second thay have batsmen upto 9th position that may help them achieve targets...

No, it will be Pakistan. Pakistan have won their warm-up match against South Africa and they are in good form. Their Moral is high. On the other hand, Westindies has been crushed by India so, Will be under deep pressure. And also Pakistan has defeated them in the home series without thier key fast bowlers, Shoaib Akhter and Muhammad Asif.So pakistan is favourite for the first match.

i prefer th winning of west indies......the pakistan team which was once strong is now lacking bowlers.......so there is every chance of the victory of wi victory....
