let's not be a racist in here !!!

There is nothing that can be done in this board, over here you have to listen to hate speeches addressed to countries,religion bashing, sometimes even bashing people whose English is not good. You have to just stick out of those discussions, no use reporting those threads because no action is taken ( action will be taken only if that person has said something that goes against the native country of this website or the main religion of that country). In other words there is a clear bias. In fact things are so bad now, people have started reporting other user's just for settling scores. If these things go on this board's going to collapse, they will lose a majority of user's and only users from usa, canada etc. will be here. In that case they could have just designed this board for their citizens only. Why make the effort to create a world forum where there exists only one sided freedom of speech, where every one has to bear with the flaming going on over here, the rules are also rigged to suit the citizens of these countries, whatever crap they say is acceptable, whereas, if anyone else says something against them, that person immediately gets a rap on the knuckles. The whole effort looks like a one sided chess game, where the player just for the cheap thrill of winning, plays on both the sides of the board, all alone. The entire board is fast turning into a playground, where children make the rules. lol

Thankfully,I didn't come across a racist discussion yet.Probably that's because I keep myself mostly to my friend's discussions.It's only when there are no discussions from my friends ,I search for topics from my interest or in the hot topics section.If I find any racism, I'd report it to Mylot Admin.I ,too,love being friends with people from all over the world here and would not like anything to spoil it.

I totally agree with you.I even report once a member and I was very glad to see mylot delete him discussion.I have friends here from many countries and i want keep it with this way.We must do anything we can keep the racism out from mylot.

It seems that no matter where you go, there will always be a FEW people who like to create trouble by having extremist views on life-- race, religion, politics, anything that we can become very passionate about. I agree entirely that we should not demean any individuals or groups, especially on a web site that caters to the whole world. There ARE so-called "flame boards" on the Internet, so maybe people with such inclinations would be better off there. Fortunately, I have only come across a single truly "nasty" discussion... and I guess all we can really do (as I did then) is use the reporting "!" so the moderators can remove the discussion.
