Stop Abusing MyLot!

You know who you are! I barely hit the post button, and already had a response to my last discussion. Guess what? Some loser had posted part of my own discussion as his response to my discussion! Of course I reported this to MyLot and rated his response with a - but I went a step further than this. I next went to his profile page. I found that during the time it took me to report him and rate his response, he had done the exact same thing in two more discussions. You guessed it, I reported and rated them too. I went back further beyond mine and checked into a couple of other discussions he had responded to. No surprise there, more of the same.

I've had that in some of my discussions too .. but I don't think the person is with MyLot anymore .. heheh !!! I simply cannot understand why folks do it .. they are obviously the ones who are here only for the money .. and they must realise that by conitnually doing it they will be discovered and lose all their earnings .. So all they are doing is spending time doing something for absolutely nothing at all .. silly beggars ...!!

So far they haven't banned either member I have reported but they have at least removed some of the responses. I'm sure they probably gave these members a warning though, so if they keep doing it, they will most likely be gone.

What I don't understand though is why they would remove all of this members discussions and replies, yet leave his points. Even with no discussions or replies the one member still has 188 points.

I'm sorry that this has happened to you. I know that it can be a pain in the butt to get responses like that to your discussions, hopefully they will be banned.

Unfortunately, they aren't banned yet, but I see that all of the responses I reported are removed. Actually, I reported two members for this on the same day. I let myLot know that parts of his responses were directly copied from the discussions. Some are reworded, and some are a couple of words he could throw together on my own. I didn't take the time to go through his entire list to report each one on it's own though. I suggested that they might want to do this. They did remove the specific ones I reported at least. The other member has had all responses removed because I did have time to go through them, and every one of his was directly copied. He now has no discussions or responses left, but he is still a member.

I found one of those yesterday also. I was reading responses to one of my posts and this person had copied part of my post as his response. He made it sound like he was making fun of my posting while he was at it. I couldn't believe it!

That was my first thought when I read this what this user had written as his response. At first I thought that his mocking me was meant as him trying to make fun of what I had said. I thought it was rude whether he was mocking me or copying me, but reported him for copying me, since that is what he did.

This is so silly. I also got one in my email, that's when I saw you posted. I can only imagine what goes thru an idiot's mind when they're doing crap like this... How can someone be greedy enough to try to destroy a whole community anyway? Fools.

This isn't the same guy that copied mine, but I also turned him in for six of these responses copied from discussions today. I also asked MyLot to look into his profile because if his last six responses were copied from the discussions, I'm sure there were a lot more.

Hopefully everyone will report them so that they aren't getting points or money for their discussions or responses. Thanks for your response.

how sad it is.i meet the same thing that somebody posted part of my own discussion as his response to my discussion.the person who do it should be driven out.and the post button should be stopped to use.only in this way can the people in this web speak from their own voice.

This is the same abuser I was telling Karmalina about above. Everyone needs to be on the lookout for these abusers and report them whenever they see them.

That was a good thing that you did. It is probably the information that is given in the My lot page for increasing your earnings. These people are not really interested in communicating but in earning. Now tha you have reported have you had any instances of people having been black listed or something like that? Since they are not going to stop the act till such things are brought into force.

There will always be abusers on any site. Some are just smarter than others I guess. MyLot does remove some of the discussions and responses that are reported. I have also heard of them removing users, but I'm not sure at what point they do that.
