cohabitation or marriage?

this is my research study and i need opinions from you people :) which one are you in or which one do you prefer? why? is cohabitation legal in some countries? how do people decide whether to cohabit or get married?

well i think cohabitation is nice since you get to know each other it makes you feel guarantee if you really want to spend your whole life with this person its another way of making sure.
