How long did it take you to make $10 from mylot?

I am new to this site and was wondering how long it actually takes to hit your first $10? Do you think that you earn more by starting discussions?

When I signed to Mylot I read of a lot of people that could reach 10 dollars in a month. I'm here since the end of december and, at the moment, I can say that in almost three months I reached the huge sum of 1,07 dollar(I wrote 119 posts...)....
