liking for me is combination of a decision taken by brain and heart, whereas love is the decision taken just by heart. thats how i interpret the diffrence. i dont know whether people agree with me or not

if i gave cake and another sweet item
if u like cake then take both sweet and cake
if u love cake the u take cake only and ask for another cake......

I believe that the difference is an emotional response. I like looking at pictures. there are certain artists work that I love, I like my next door neighbor, I love my mother. It is all about how you react to some one or some thing. The opposite is true as well I dislike carrots, I hate squash.
