Holidays rituals, what are you?

ritual and ceremony are important tools for trying us to what heart and meaning in life, individually and collectively. they link us together -- within our families and communities, through shared rituals we also share common purpose, beliefs, and understandings. what are some of your winter/holiday rituals?some may be faith-based traditions, while others may be "home-grown" unique traditions. in my family, we always try to see a holiday theatrical show, such as a Christmas Carol or Nutcracker, and introduce the next generation to this tradition. and we also volunteer at our local food bank. please take a moment to share your tradition:D?
