I've read the first 3 chapters of the book. I'm reading this book to see if I can help my daughter get an better understanding. The book is on her reading list for her class she has to read it and answer chapter questions, the question is There are three people trying to influence the group in chapter 1-2, who are they? How are things they want good for the group? How are things bad for the group? I beleive it's Ralph, jack, and Simon. Their trying to influence the group to build a fire to attract attention of passing ships. the reason why it's good for the group is that a ship will see the fire and recue them. The bad thing is they are children and they can get careless the fire can get out of control the group could be injured or killed if the fire spreads. Does this seem to be the most logical response to the questions at hand?
