Now that the weather is warm and kids are playing outside more. What are some great games or fun activities to do outside with my toddler?

my kids adore scavenger hunts. I tell him the types of things we are going to look for and we go outside & do our hunt...he gets thrilled when he comes upon something before I do. I make them rather easy so he knows what to look for...he LOVES it. You can also make up bingo cards & do the same thing kids have a blast. My kids also love water play :)

Now that sounds like a lot of fun! My neighbor told me stories of her doing that with her grandkids!

My son loves playing with water. I put a plastic tub with a few inches of water in it out in the sun and he splashes around in there with some of my kitchen stuff (spoons, measuring cups, etc.). You could also try building a tent, just string up a cord between two trees or posts and drape a sheet over it. Kids adore this! You can have a picnic inside the tent or read stories together in there. Another game that my son likes is to try knocking over formula cans that I stack up in a pyramid. We are trying to teach him to kick or throw a ball at it, but usually he just runs over and hits it. He has a blast and you´ll get tired of restacking the cans before he does!

I have a 2 year old and she loves playing catch. It is ideal to use a soft ball or a balloon as it is easier for them to catch. She loves water too, so I give her a bowl of water and some toys and she can play to her hearts content. One of those bubble machines is great too, even my older daughter loves that and outside is great as you don't get wet carpet or make the floor slippy.

My son loves the ball but has such a short attention span. I can only get one throw in before he decides he's done. LOL

Hi Im Toya I dont have children but do childrens workshops and creative days plus entertainment for tourists and families aswell. Well if youre on youre own - What would I suggest ? toddlers love anything really but they get bored easily..Games outside could include playing with small colored hoops and throwing them on a small plastic stand or throwing hoops on a mat with different colored squares or throwing small balls into a hole - it depends how old your baby is or playing football with a small ball - if its hot enough you could do painting games like potato prints or shapes with vegetables - you just cut out the shapes and get poster paints and large sheets of paper - and dip the shapes or potato pieces in bowl with the different colored paints and then make pictures..hope this helps write back if you have ideas and want to make games. Im quite good at thinking up different games for kidz..
