Families across the country flipped over Fizzies. With one little tablet and a glass of water, Fizzies released its magical fizz, creating a perfectly sweet, effervescent drink. Fizzies were originally made in grape, cherry, orange, punch, berry, lemon-lime and root beer flavors. Fizzies kids could be spotted a mile away with their tell-tale grins and brightly colored tongues.............Do you remember these?

We didn't have fizzies in my country. Instead we had fizz bags. These were filled with different flavoured powder and we made a hole in the top of the bag and sipped the powder up through a straw. I suppose we could have put all the powder in a glasa and made your fizzies. I think it would have been much the same.

I do remember fizzies. I don't think they really tasted very good but we loved them anyway. They were bright colored and fun. Do you remember Flav A Straws? They had a bendy straw with a little felt-like pad saturated with a flavor stuck inside it. They came in more limited flavors and were for milk. You could get chocolate and strawberry. I don't remember if there were any others. I loved them, but I can remember now exactly how they tasted and they were awful.
