On and off relationships - do they ever work out????

My experience is that if a couple break up once, they won't last, it's just a matter of time before they realize. If they need to get out there and date a couple of other people just to see if they find someone better, or whatever the excuse might be, they are not right for each other. Any opinions on this, can on and off turn into forever??

Once relationship get's broken you can never made them back. Relationship is like a glass. On and off relationship never works if both of you doesn't know what your mistakes are. If you both of you argued on the same matter like before it means you can't really understand each other. Coz if you guys do understand each other, why same mistakes still exist.

I agree. I have always doubted at one time or another in earlier relationships, but never with my husband. It would be like breaking up with your best friend, and who would do that.

I don't have much confidence in relationships that are on and off. My mother even told me one time that if I ever found myself in such a relationship that it wouldn't work out.

In my own experience, we broke up once after 4 years, and we realize that we still need each other and we know our attitude that much, that is the time we reconcile and forget the past happens to us.
