I don't know what the problem with my dvd drive.

I have LG GSA H20L dvd drive. Now I have got a problem with it. When I try to read or write a DVD it doesn't do anything. The green light blinks for some time and it shows me as if the DVD is empty. But when I try CD it works. Have you encountered such problem? If you know any solution for it please inform me.
