You would think that after so many years a person would get tired of Lucy. But she still reigns supreme on the comedy scene. My friend and quote sayings from the show all the time and just laugh and laugh. She is an all time classic. I really like the fact that she can entertain the entire family. When Lucy is on you don't have to monitor her to see what the kids are being exposed to. You know it is wholesome. While on the other hand I love Roseanne, though not nearly as much as I Love Lucy. Roseanne is more of a raw in your face type of humor, yet we can all relate to her. I would not approve of my young children watching Roseanne, but maybe for the sixteen and up she is cool. There are a couple of others that I feel are like these. There is Momma's Family, which although a little lame is still funny. And of course I enjoy the Golden Girls, but Lucy is still by far the best.

I'm sure I've seen every episode of I Love Lucy 300 times. That each episode 300 time a piece. You might say I love Lucy

To me the King and Queen of comedy are Lucy for the Quees and Frank Spencer for King, they are so outragous but so what looks like naturally funny, they offend no one in their comedy which is where a lot of comedians fall down they feel they have to insult people to be funny...yes Lucy is the Queen of comedy for sure...

I love them both too!! And I let mt little kids watch Roseanne, it isn't on very often when they are awake though. And with Lucy being in black and white they aren't interested in it!! I remember watching both shows when I was growing up so for me they give me that "I'm a little girl" feeling!!
