Ok as a parent first off let me say that no one has the right to visit the family. They may have the privilage but it is never a right. We have always been open to people coming and visiting us at all hours of the day or night and it never bothered us. As the parent you have to be able to control and monitor what goes on in your child's life and if the grandparen't are doing something that you don't agree with and don't want them passing it on to the kids then sit down and talk to them about it and let them know that they have the privilage to see the kids not the right. We had to do this with my hubby's grandma because when she would take my oldest for the weekend we found out that she wasn't buckling her carseat and placing her facing forward when she wasn't big enough. So we had a talk with her and it didn't work and then his mom lit into her and we have never had the problem since. Because of her hands she couldn't unbuckle the carseat once she was buckled in and so now when we are back there she has someone come and do it for her.
