Turn the temperature up in the fridge/freezer. Even a couple of degrees makes a big difference. Use cold water instead of hot when doing your laundry Turn your thermostate for the heat a few degrees down or for the a/c a few degres up. Change any appliance and light bulbs over to more energy efficient ones. Anything that leaks in the house, windows or doors get the leaks fixed. Turn off lights and other energy items when not in use. Those are some main things to help conserve electricity.

change all your light bulbs to the new spiral ones my mind is a blank right now as to what they are actually called lol. We have them all over the house and we have saved so much on lighting. weather strip all you doors and windows. Turn your heat down a degree or two and if you are feeling chilly put on a sweater or curl up with a warm blanket. If its ac you have on turn it down a degree or 2 too.
