Have you Guys Noticed How Soaps have Cut Back on the "Making Love" Scenes?

I remember when I started watching "Days" at a fairly young age (I might have been 11 or 12) and back then they constantly had the making love scenes. Now that I'm actually old enough to be watching these shows, they never seem to show it anymore? Are there some new rules that I don't know about? Do you miss the love-making scenes or can you do without?

It's the visa versa here.
It seems more soaps focus on sexing them up and I don't like it all because it's not my sort of thing. Do I miss them? Well no, I never would. I'd be glad if they banned it here as it's not something you want young children seeing. especially when the shows start as early as 5:30pm!
Kudos,

I only watch United Kingdom soaps and ones from Australia.
So I haven't heard of the one you mentioned. ?

There is too much censoring any more. You would have to watch a late night soup or latenight soap re-run to see that stuff. Anymore there are groups sewing for just about anything including farting, kissing, bad words, not so bad words.......I think we need some censorship in the media but i also think the do-gooders have gotten out of hand.

I'm thankful I don't watch the soaps! LOL But I do wonder if there have been some "daytime" rule changes that prompted the decrease in love scenes? Would be interesting to find out.

i watch them on and off and i havent noticed a difference, but there might be in change inthe show because the crowd has changed. like more than just stay at home moms are watching now as more moms go off to work and more dads are staying at home. i dont know that might have something to do with it

I don't miss them at all. I dont watch "Days" but I've noticed in on "Y&R" which is my daily "gotta watch soap" and they have cut back too and have more time for drama.

I can do without them, I think they were pretty cheesy anyways =) I remember watchinf Days with my mom when I was really little too....probably younger than 11! But it stuck with me because I still watch Days all the time =)

I use to be so hooked on soaps but i quit watching them a long time ago...I got so involved with general Hospital when Luke and Laura was the big thing..My life was just revolving around them and could not wait until the next day.I got out of that though because it was taking up to much of my life on a daily basis...I don't really know whats going on in the soaps anymore..Im sorry I could not help.
