Wow! Sounds tough. Do you own this apartment or are you renting. Coz if you are renting you need to get your landlord to fix all this stuff or tell him you'll break the lease and move out. If you own it, then it would be an expensive task for you to get all the repairs done. Why dont you list down all the repairs that need done in order of decreasing importance. That way you can tackle maybe one or two problems every week so it would not all come crashing down on you.

Have you talked to yur landlord about this?I imagine you did......the next step to take is to write a letter, keep a copy for yourself and have someone sign it as a witness that it was written and sent.....don't only point out the problems, point out the dangers of them too, especially the toilet.....I know people who ignored these things until hubby went to use it and lo and behold,he woke uo in the hospital after the toilet let go and he hit his head.....let them know that these things have to be resolved.....IMMEDIATELY!And if they still don't do anything, take it to your tenants board.....that's what they are there for

If I new exactly where your apartment was I would complain for you. There are sites to report them. My only other suggestion would be to move. There is something have heard others do...they put their rent into an account and until the landlord fixes things they don't pay him. There is a procedure for this and am not sure exactly what that is. I wish you luck, I am ready to complain for you to management. Take care in that problem apartment.
