Hi all, I recently sent to subway and they offer hotdogs and burgers with less than 8 gms of fats. I would like to know how true is it. They use chicken and cheese which is only fat content. Are they fooling us??? Reply please

Subway here only sell subs although it would be interesting to see what their burgers etc are like ... but like everything you need to read the fine print. It probably says that it is if you have it without cheese and sauce etc etc Just because it's low in fat doesn't mean it's good for you!! McDonalds Australia has a lot of "low fat" items on their menu but if you want to go on calories you are better off eating a regular burger than their "healthy alternatives" You just can't win!!

Hey thanks for your response. But the chicken tikka was a part of less 8 gm fat menu only.. And a chain group like this do you think would cheat for promoting itself

there is probably some small print somewhere, that could suggest that the 8 percent fat count is without adding any sauces or condiments or any other optional ingredients that you can choose such as cheese.
