Wars and Devastation

My father was a World War II veteran. He used to talk about how difficult it is for a country to be caught in a war and how devastating it is to the people and the environment. Wars are still with us. Most are carried in small packets in different countries all over the world. No matter how small the packet is, the effects are horrendous. Costing lives and properties. Its devastating effects, especially on those dislocated children, are beyond measure. Wars are inevitable because, people will have misunderstandings, discontentment, greed and hunger for power among its populace. I hope that World War III shall never come to be. Can you imagine what will it be like if ever it breaks out?

Warplanes and ship - Warplanes and warship.
If World War III breaks out, there will be many innocent people who would become the victims especially children like what happened in the previous ones. No one could be a winner. Everybody is a loser if there is war. I am not at all in favor of any kind of war.

Neither would I ever look forward for it taking place. But none of us can do anything to stop it, just in case. The world leaders decide on this matter. The displacement of families taking place because of small wars alone is hurting us enough already.

I am so afraid that the World War III will breaks out.I can't imagine how the atomic and nuclear bomb will fly all over in the sky.And if these bombs will hit in our place then a big chance that we will be washed out.I am sure that no one will survive of this catastrophe.Let's just hope and pray to God that He will not prohibit War to take place in this world instead the love and peace to every mankind should always prevail .

If there are peace loving people like us, there are also those who advocate it. This is the reason why there is an unending history of wars throughout this world. Let us keep on hoping though that WW III will never take place at all.

I think it will come, trinidadvelasco. It would be a very unruly world. I cannot imagine how my children will be. But in God's hands, everything will be for the best.

It may sound very negative. But it will come. Let's hope it will take a much longer time. And when it happens, may the rulers of the world be sane enough not to resort to the use of nuclear and chemical warfare. The truth is, we will all be losers everytime a war erupts.

Nobody likes war here, that i'm sure. War is unpleasant which i've learnt during my history lessons here in my own country. Wars are without mercy but brave individuals are the ones needed to fight and protect us and our homeland. I'm glad that you've a dad whom is a world war II veteran, at least he share with you the values of not having a war fought. Distraught people are still around this world relating their stories again and wishing that war will never happen to their children or grandchildren and peace and harmony will preside over this world of ours we call home.

Yes, it is true that no peace loving person would ever want any war taking place. You know, even the packets of war in the various parts of my country, affects everyone around. When we hear that there are some bombing of sorts which take place, there is no way that the feeling we get can be easily translated into words.
