James Taylor is already a legend! his songs are good. His records is clean. Today's young one's craze like snoop dog is a bad example. Look at today's headline. They were arrested AGAIN!!! for using drugs! Real dogs are better than snoop dogs!. Agree? or Disagree?

No, he has no new album yet. Maybe he preferred to be out of the limelight. But I still keep playing his songs. he is one of the great artist of all times.

I am 21 and grew up with all types of music. I love James Taylor he is a wonderful musician. I listen to less radio everyday, because I can not believe the lack of respect and creativity in music;.

I saw his one man band show in November in Chicago. He was so awesome! He played all the good stuff. I was really glad he left Fire and Rain until the very last because it makes me cry every time I hear it. He was so funny and entertaining. Have you heard his son's music? He is amazing too.

I never liked much of todays hippie songs nor its singer, well not all can be said for all the artist, there are those who are still very commendable. Its the emulation of being tough & a picturing of rebellious thats what makes it look cool. Things have been easy & convenient for everyone now a days. The idea of the struggle of past World Wars lost its significance as if it doesnt happen, the tumultous years of martial law, countrywide political upheavals before are unheard of now let alone it is given value. Its values of the past & being part of something big that is lost now among he youth. Those courageous stance of many a heroes has been lost from the easy going life of DVDs, Internet, TV's, everything is fun, fun, fun. No longer it is challenge among the youth to be significant for the country or for the community in itself. Self interests prevails so much than the real & much needed stance. Thats what i see among the youthfull of our politics. The reason of pain is lost among us. Its sad since when pain will come, you alone will feel it.

I have to agree. I love JT! I do think, however, that Snoop is a talented and interesting fellow with tremendous potential. I feel that he ought to clean up his act and use his gifts in a more positive way.

I am 26 years old and I was practically brought up on JT. I love him, his voice, his songs and the deeper messages within the songs is just wonderful. I do really enjoy the gang rap where they put down women and there own race along with others. I have two little girls and the last influence I want them to hear is music with negative terms in them... Again I love JT and I plan on passing him on to another generation! :)

Amen to that! I love his music and the smoothness of his voice, and I have a picture on my wall of him from Rolling Stone magazine, where he was working on his house. He is still married to Carly Simon, right?
