HELP--what gift would you give to your lady boss' birthday?

hi friends, can you please help me, my lady boss will celebrate her birthday on March 20, and its only 7 days from now, i want to give her a present but until now i have no idea what to give her. She's a good person, a lady boss-a role model-a friend--rolled into one that's why i want to give her something which she will truly appreciate.
can you share me your ideas regarding a best birthday gift? thanks in advance, any idea will surely be appreciated.;)

Get her something like a basket with hand lotions, soap, shower gel, etc.. Women always love that kind of stuff. Or you can get her a gift certificate to a nice restaurant or a beauty salon

It is true that women love beauty products, just be careful in choosing which kind and know what her preferences are because you might end up giving her something she will not really use.

hmm.. i think for me simplicity is beauty, give your boss a card and a rose alon with it, inside that card is your appreciation with her leadership, your admiration to her as your boss and how much her leadership means to you.

I agree with axe_effect. Or instead of flowers, get her a cake with a personal design--an image of hers or anything that you associate with her. If you are close to her you would have ideas what she appreciates but if you are not and you wanted to have a safe gift, flowers and cakes will be surely appreciated.

I think one of the most common is, a coffee mug. You can also give her a ball point pen, the Parker one. I think if you's close friends any gift coming from you will be greatly appreciated.

I like the wrist watch as a gift so as to present a lady boss or to any other ladies. YOu can select best and good company wrist watch and present to your lady boss. Iam sure she will like it. I usually give wrist watch to ladies and girls when i go for party/birthday etc.

How about a handbag or a scarf. I.e if she is a friend type. or otherwise you could give her a business card holder, a wallet...
