Well I am, and I think there is no way I can tell the service provider to stop sending me those messages and text advisories. Sometimes they are free, but sometimes they take away my extra mobile phone balance. Do you have the same problem too? Yeah, and to add more to that, sometimes in the middle of my classes or while I am sleeping my Phone would ring, just because of that spam messages.

Wow, I never get spam text messages. Have you entered your cell phone number anywhere on the internet or texted one of those commercials? If so then that is probably the problem. On the other hand, if you haven't. I would probably check into changing service providers. What company are you with right now?

well, as per experience,i never had my mobile number entered to any internet sites before. and yet, i get these spam messages which sadly, aren't for free! i am from the philippines by the way. and i won't try to type down the name of my old service provider which i hate and the new network i am using now which is really great. all i know is some networks do this even without their subscribers not subscribing to spam messages to generate more income. they are so rude and selfish.

It's annoying, and I've received to of those from the same person and number weeks ago. I just ignore most of them, because they are just a waste of time and money!;) But sometimes, I am tempted to reply to their message. Not to become their victim, but to also play at their type of game. I sometimes want to tell to them that I'm interested, and if they could just tell me where we could meet. Of course, without them knowing that I've already tipped them with the law enforcers. Or maybe just tell them that I'm also a cop, and that I want to personally meet them!;)

wow. i had those problems before with one service provider. i thought spam messages are for free since i did not subscribe anyway to have them sent to me. and yet,i get surprised whenever my prepaid load was deducted because of the spam i have received. i inquired about it and had the spam alerts sent to "off". yet, i still receive such messages and even at the middle of my sleep! so, i changed my service provider. now, my service provider no longer wakes me up with spam messages. more so, i no longer have my loads deducted. it's such a shame why some networks do such things to their subscribers when we all know how huge they are earning from us already.
