I do believe in this thing but 50-50. Sometimes it seems to be true, when things are unexpected and gives good results. But this doesnt happen always.

I do believe everything happens for a reason. before I was married I dated a real jerk. He was abusive and awful. But because of him, I met a woman and became close friends. Through that woman, I met my husband. AND if it hadn't been for that jerk, I wouldn't be able to appreciate what a great husband I have !!
